Opportunities exist at a variety of levels for both permanent and contract hires.

• Junior/Intermediate Level C++ Developer/Software Engineers (1-2 years post grad experience)
• C++ Software Engineer/Developers - 3-6 years experience
• Senior C++ Developer/Software Engineers - 5 years +

Requirements
Candidates will have at least 1-2 years + commercial C++ experience, gained in a complex blue-chip technology environment. A strong preference exists for candidates with experience working on business critical, high availability systems in environments with zero downtime tolerance. For example;

• similar financial markets/trading systems environments
• secure/mission critical systems environments utilising multi-threaded C++ technology eg. telecommunications, software vendors, defence, aeronautical, hardware providers, networks providers, gaming etc

In addition, suitable candidates are likely to have experience working with structured software development & formal object oriented design & development techniques.

Role Description & Technology Requirements

Candidates will be required to work closely with other programming and quantitative specialists focusing on new product development and the delivery of pricing tools and risk management systems.

Core responsibilities:

• Develop the core trading and risk-management system components.
• Work with the C++ Lead Technologists to develop and deliver solutions within a timely manner within the scope of the overall business strategy.
• Adopt a proactive approach to technology and introduce new/improved solutions.
• Demonstrate practical know-how and expertise in current technologies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the business and other areas of IT.
