Java J2EE Developers & Senior Developers - ENTER Financial markets
We are seeking Java J2EE Developers
with at least 2 years commercial Java and/or J2EE development
experience for a number of key financial markets clients. These organisations possess of a highly dynamic, merit based culture where high achievers are
identified and rewarded in kind. Only ambitious, highly technical Java
J2EE technologists need apply.
You will have:
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- experience in delivering to tight commercial timeframes
- a proven track record of taking ownership and delivery of projects
- a keen interest in financial markets (although experience in Finance is not essential)
You will have significant commercial Java experience including the following technical skills:
- significant Java J2EE & design experience
- experience working with formal OO design & development techniques including J2EE design patterns
- strong analytical, problem solving and debugging abilities
- experience in using JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere or any other enterprise scale application server
- Open-source technologies - Hibernate, Eclipse, Ant etc
- Java web frameworks - Struts, Spring
- RDBMS technologies - Sybase, Oracle
- degree in Computer Science/IT (preferred)
Previous work experience in a Financial Services or similar large scale blue chip environment would be advantageous.
